How design, culture and emotion shaped the way I curate extraordinary celebrations across Italy.

I did not come to Italy to plan weddings.

I came for Italian design culture. I wanted to understand why beauty here feels eternal, why everything, from a chair to a meal, carries emotion.

I was born and raised in Mexico City, a magical city defined by color, rhythm and instinct. My background is in architecture, interior design and culinary arts. For over fifteen years I have lived through design. From hospitality to interiors, from creative direction to brand experiences across Miami and San Francisco, I learned how space can make people flow through it. How proportion, light and material can awaken emotion.

Italy taught me something deeper.

Beauty is not functional. It is felt. It exists in the dialogue between people, place and time. Here, design creates connection. A table becomes a memory. A landscape becomes a feeling.

The moments you live here remain within you.

Why I Stayed

A decade ago, I began planning weddings in Miami, drawn to the emotion of how people gather and celebrate. In parallel, I was conceiving immersive installations and events that explored the dialogue between space, light and human presence. Those experiences revealed that design can hold emotion. Every light, texture and detail carries meaning when placed with intention.

Each space becomes a composition of emotion, felt, remembered and lived.

Later, in San Francisco, directing interiors for start-ups and private projects, I spent my days shaping environments to be lived in. Composing rooms that invited people to feel rather than simply observe. That rhythm prepared me for what Italy would reveal.

When I moved to Milan to pursue a master’s in furniture design, I continued leading projects in California while studying. What I expected to be a brief professional chapter became a transformation.

Italy reshaped how I understood beauty.

Here, heritage and modernity coexist. Meals become rituals. Objects are created to last. Artisans shape materials with patience born of devotion.

It became clear to me that what remains after a celebration is not a single element, but the harmony between emotion and detail. A scent that lingers on the skin. The texture of linen under candlelight. The sound of laughter shared at the table. The feeling of belonging to a moment that will never return yet will never fade.

That understanding became the foundation of Ca’ di Campo. A design studio devoted to curating experiences of artistry, depth and connection.

Curating Italian Celebrations

Ca’ di Campo was born from a desire to share the Italy I have fallen in love with. Not the expected Italy, but the one revealed through texture, artistry and quiet luxury.

Every celebration begins with emotion.

Once that emotion is clear, everything else unfolds naturally. The region. The scent. The palette. The rhythm of the day.

I curate through the senses. The sound of music echoing softly through a courtyard. The weight of hand-blown glass. The fragrance of jasmine carried by the wind. Every element, from the table setting to the printed menu, carries intention. Sometimes even a bespoke piece of furniture created for the occasion becomes an heirloom that holds memory for a lifetime.

Authenticity is not about postcard views or Italian clichés. It is about emotion.

When a space feels honest, everything flows.

An Eye on the Ground

For couples abroad, Italy often feels like a dream that is beautiful yet difficult to grasp. My passion is to make that dream feel close and real. To bring together cultures, emotions and expectations through a process that flows smoothly, feels totally personal and full of joy.

Celebrating in Italy with Ca’ di Campo begins with listening.

Each celebration is shaped with intention, guided by intuition and experience. The process unfolds with quiet rhythm, allowing time for ideas to mature and for beauty to take form naturally. Every decision is made with intention, every gesture considered.

By the time the celebration comes to life, everything feels harmonious, as if it could have only happened that way. Every detail has been thoughtfully shaped to reflect meaning, emotion and the people at its heart.

Living in Milan keeps me close to the artisans, the venues and the landscapes that define this country’s creative soul. I visit each place in person, speak with the families who protect its legacy and select partners whose values reflect authenticity and excellence. Across the North of Italy, Tuscany, Puglia and beyond, I have built relationships grounded in mutual respect and shared artistry.

In workshops where porcelain is poured, in vineyards set for candlelit dinners, and in villas where history still breathes, I rediscover what I love most about this country.

Every encounter, every collaboration, becomes part of the emotion my clients take home. A celebration that feels alive, effortless and filled with soul.

The Essence of Ca’ di Campo

Ca’ di Campo exists to curate with intention, authenticity and elegance with restraint. Every decision, from the curve of a chair to the scent that welcomes guests, is guided by emotion and cultural reverence.

Each experience is personalized with meaning, designed to reflect the life and energy of those it celebrates. Every gathering becomes a way to connect more deeply with loved ones, to share time, beauty and a sense of belonging that lingers beyond those days in Italy.

Luxury is not excess. It is depth.

It is the harmony between what is seen and what is felt. The story. The craft. The emotion that stays long after the celebration ends.

A Continuing Story

This journal, Italia Unveiled, reveals the layers of that story.
The regions that inspire.
The artisans who preserve tradition.
The Italy that continues to move me and shape everything I curate.

For those who dream of Italy not just as a destination but as a feeling, welcome to Ca’ di Campo, a place where celebration becomes art.
